Now that I have set my goals in changing my life, what should I focus on first? Well, initiallyI do know that the main problem about my lazy attitude is the fact that I am a bit obese. It has been found that being overweight can cause your body to slow down especially if you don’t exercise that much and do not practice healthy eating habits.
This has been my problem since College. I have lost the desire to care for my health and my physical being. This is the main cause of my laziness, my heavy body makes me feel uncomfortable and uneasy to move around.
Actually, I was meaning to lose body weight about 3 or 4 years ago when I bought a fitness video that can help me loose weight, feel great, and even look great. Even if I can’t dance, I bought a dancing-to-weight-loss video, a totally inappropriate fitness workout for me. However, I wanted to learn how to dance the “moves.”
Some of my friends say that with constant practice, even my two left feet can learn to groove. Well, I have seen some celebrities who do not have graceful bodies but can dance like crazy on the stage they perform on. I wanted to do all that. That’s why I took out the dusty old DVD workout video and started to watch it.
I haven’t started on the weight loss journey yet but I will certainly start tomorrow, after I face my fear, the weighing process. I don’t know my current weight right now but 2 years ago, I was about 160 lbs. I might have gained more weight since then. I wanted to target at least 110 lbs because it’s my ideal weight for a 5′ 2″ height.
